Your Guide to Pennsylvania's Amish Country

 

 

 

1 cup John Copes brand dried corn
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt

 

1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 cup milk

Cover corn with boiling water and let soak 1 hour. Add sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil then simmer for approx. 1 hour, add water if needed. When corn is tender, add butter and milk and serve.
